Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Matthews, NC. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live independently.

If you are compassionate, reliable, and seek meaningful work, we’d love to meet you! Starting pay is $15.40–$17/hr with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and daily living support to individuals with IDD.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Monitor health and safety, document activities, and maintain schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and communicate with the team and families.
