Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. DSPs assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

We offer paid training, flexible schedules, and growth opportunities. Starting pay is $15.40/hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments after averaging 20+ hours/week.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass background, driving, and healthcare registry checks.

Responsibilities

Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
Communicate with Abound Health team, families, and case managers as needed.
Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
