Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. The role involves assisting with ADLs, community participation and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Starting pay is $15.40–$17 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments. We offer paid onboarding and training, flexible schedules (full-time or part-time) and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background checks
• Willingness to provide personal care when needed
• Lifting may be required

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties as needed
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules
• Complete ongoing training and professional development
