Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Bordentown, NJ to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid training, and growth opportunities. Starting pay ranges from $23 to $33 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments when averaging 20+ hours/week.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or related support roles.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support that helps individuals build independence and confidence.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound Health team members, families, and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
