Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. As a DSP, you will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently.

Starting pay is $23/hour for non-acuity and $33/hour for acuity, plus a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments. We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, opportunities for advancement, and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required; paid training and support provided.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support helping individuals build independence at home, in the community, and at work.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
