Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. DSPs assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

Starting pay ranges from $15.40 to $17 per hour, plus a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments. The role offers flexible schedules, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal background check, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support enabling independence and personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities (meal prep, hygiene, household tasks).
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and skill development.
• Monitor health and safety in a supportive environment.
• Communicate with team members, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
