Friendly Connections Inc. seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Caregivers, and Community Support Workers to help individuals with disabilities and seniors live more independently in New Jersey.

Typical hours are about 8 per week in the afternoon, with days and assignments flexible. In this in-person role you will take clients into the community and support life skills, independence, and social engagement.

Qualificações

• Must love working with and helping people.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, seniors, dementia patients, or people with special needs preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Support individuals in achieving greater independence and community involvement.
• Accompany clients to appointments, activities, shopping, and events.
• Assist with life skills development, communication, technology use, and social engagement.
• Provide job coaching and employment support when needed.
• Transport individuals safely using your personal vehicle.
