Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. As a DSP, you will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving and supporting individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.
• Able to assist with daily living activities and personal care tasks.
• Excellent communication and reliability to coordinate with families and care teams.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules
• Complete ongoing training and professional development
