Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Shelby, North Carolina and surrounding areas to provide compassionate caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD.

You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently. Flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid onboarding & training, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass background checks and health registry checks
• Willingness to address personal care needs

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to individuals to build independence
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and household tasks
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication
• Maintain health, safety, and documentation; participate in training and development
