Donor Network of Arizona is seeking a Donor Support Coordinator to manage donor referrals in a fast-paced 24/7 call center. The role involves screening medical history, evaluating donation suitability, and guiding families with empathy through the donation process.

The position emphasizes compassionate communication, the coordination of technician teams, and strict adherence to regulations. This is a meaningful role supporting organ and tissue donation in a high-volume setting.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–2 years related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge.
• Basic computer skills with a typing speed of at least 25 WPM.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to manage challenging or emotionally charged conversations professionally.
• Experience working with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds.
• Proven ability to handle conflict resolution positively and professionally.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and manage incoming donor referral calls in a 24/7 call center setting.
• Screen patient medical and social history with hospital staff, nurses, medical examiners, technicians, organ recovery personnel, and family members.
• Evaluate donation suitability using established policies and medical criteria.
• Communicate with next of kin regarding donation opportunities after the loss of a loved one.
• Guide families through sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
• Obtain and verify legal authorization for donation.
• Coordinate and dispatch technician teams.
• Accurately document detailed medical and social history information.
• Maintain compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout the donation process.
