Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a dishwasher at Ivy Park in Palos Verdes to support meal service and maintain cleanliness across kitchen and dining areas. You will prepare the dish room, transport dishes, and ensure sanitation and safety standards are met throughout daily operations.

Qualifications

• Six months of kitchen or similar setting experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication with staff, residents and families.
• Criminal background check and health screening required (TB test).
• Vaccination/PPE per regulatory guidelines may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room area prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to the kitchen after meals.
• Clear, wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Return clean dishes to storage areas.
• Assist with breaking down the kitchen for cleanup.
• General cleanup and sanitation of dish room, kitchen, dining areas and equipment.
• Empty the trash.
• Respond to resident concerns in a professional, caring manner.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
