Qualifications

• Prefer six (6) months of experience working in a kitchen or similar setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents, and families.
• Must pass Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests (physical and TB).
• Vaccination or PPE requirements may be requested per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dish room/area prior to meal service.
• Transport dishes to the kitchen; wash, sanitize, and store properly.
• Assist with kitchen clean-up and sanitation of dish room, dining areas, and drains.
• Respond to resident concerns and complaints professionally.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and cooperation with co-workers and other departments.
