Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for FT Sun & Mon 12p - 11p, Fri & Sat 4p - 11p in the United States. The DSP provides personalized support to individuals with disabilities and those with mental health and substance use challenges, helping them engage in their communities and achieve goals.

Responsibilities include advocating for rights, promoting wellness, fostering self-advocacy, and assisting with daily living, transportation, and community activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to person-centered support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster independence while providing necessary support.
• Knowledge of disability rights, self-advocacy, and community integration principles.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow regulatory guidelines.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs and perform required physical tasks.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screenings as required.
