Job summary

Sevita is seeking a Direct Support Professional in California to assist in residential programs, supporting 4–6 individuals per unit and up to 10 in periodic programs. The role is non-exempt and hourly, with options for full- or part-time schedules.

You will implement person-centered plans, help with daily living activities, and monitor health and well-being. Strong communication and reliability are essential in this community-based care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of experience in human services preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Working knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver support per individual service plans including socialization and health maintenance.
• Assist with daily activities: personal care, housekeeping, transportation, community integration, and other activities of daily living.
• Accurately document progress and activity; maintain confidentiality and records updates.
• Maintain professional relationships with individuals, families, guardians and case managers; follow Sevita Customer Service Standards.
