Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least one year of relevant supervised work experience with public health, human services or other community service agency.
• Or two years of verifiable successful history working with persons with developmental disabilities.
• Valid AR Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• HIPAA regulations must be understood and followed.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care, direction, and help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medications.
• Help customers make appointments, arrange transportation, and act as a companion.
• Improve quality of life and community integration for customers.
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform.
• Monitor safety and surroundings, including equipment and materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrate quality decision making, effective communication, and problem solving.
• Maintain receptive attitude to feedback and a positive work ethic.
