Job summary

Easter Seals Tennessee Inc is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to help people with disabilities learn, work and play in their communities. The DSP role is based in person-supported homes, delivering daily living assistance, meal prep, hygiene support and medication management.

Shifts Friday 4 PM–7 PM, Saturday 8 AM–1 PM, Sunday 11 AM–1 PM, with benefits including health insurance, life and long-term disability coverage, a 403(b) plan, generous PTO and a yearly bonus program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have valid automobile insurance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Pass a background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide caregiver assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
• Support individuals in the community and participate in community involvement.
• Support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff.
