Almost Family is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Milton-Freewater, OR to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and help clients reach personal goals in a safe, supportive environment.

Shifts include days, evenings, weekends, and overnights; paid training is provided. Part-time with potential to move to full-time.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Able to pass a background check.
• 1+ years experience providing support for an I/DD individual and/or family member.

Responsibilities

• Provide help with activities of daily living (ADLs) including physical and emotional support and communication support.
• Provide transportation for appointments and daily activities.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and foster positive self-esteem.
• Assist with general housekeeping and home management.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene tasks (shower/bath, toileting, incontinence).
