Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in the Foothills Region of NC, helping clients live independently. DSPs assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support.

Qualifications

• Caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD.
• Ability to assist with ADLs and community participation.
• Ability to communicate and support learning through adaptive tools.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and help clients achieve personal goals.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and new skills development.
• Monitor health and safety in a supportive environment.
• Communicate with team, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
