Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Asbury, NJ to provide daily living support for individuals with IDD. Earn $23–$33 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus, paid onboarding, and weekly pay. Flexible schedules and growth opportunities available.

Experience with disabilities is not required; paid training is provided. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavior support while promoting independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass criminal, driving, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal prep, hygiene, and house tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and case managers as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
