Job summary

Independent Beginnings Llc is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) / Caregivers to provide compassionate, hands-on care for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in the Marysville, Ohio area. This role emphasizes daily living support, safety, and teamwork with families and healthcare professionals.

We offer full-time and part-time shifts, weekend add-ons, and a range of benefits including PTO, 401K, health insurance allowance, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in English, including speech and writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily activities such as personal care, housekeeping, and meals.
• Work with a team including clients’ families and medical professionals to promote independence.
• Transport clients to appointments or activities as needed (mileage reimbursed).
