Job summary

In Good Company Care and Supports seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide home- and community-based assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities across New Jersey. Full-time and part-time roles are available.

You will follow individualized care plans, assist with daily living tasks, and help individuals engage in community activities while maintaining safety and respect in all interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred, but not required — training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on support to individuals in homes and communities.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal prep, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community activities, appointments, and outings.
• Follow individualized care plans and behavior support plans as directed.
• Administer medication as trained and authorized (where applicable).
• Document services provided accurately and per NJ DDD requirements.
• Communicate with families, care team, and agency staff regarding needs and progress.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, person-centered environment.
