Qualifications

• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professional assists individuals with intellectual disabilities or mental health challenges with growth and development of interpersonal skills and activities of daily living.
• Follows the resident/patient's Individual Service Plan.
