Job summary

The TemPositions Group is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Connecticut to support individuals with developmental disabilities under supervision. You will deliver person-centered services, promote inclusion, and maintain a therapeutic, safe living environment aligned with NADSP ethics.

Responsibilities include implementing ISPs, assisting with personal care, coordinating schedules, and documenting activities in Therap.

Qualifications

• Provide person-centered, direct services under supervision.
• Promote resident rights and dignity in daily interactions.
• Ability to follow individualized support plans and behavioral plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized support plans and behavioral plans for residents.
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Complete housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant environment.
• Assist with scheduling medical appointments and community activities.
• Prepare meals meeting dietary needs and food textures.
• Document services, shift logs, incidents, and behavior tracking in Therap.
