Mentor Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a Caregiver (FT) for Days/Afternoons/Weekends in Chambersburg, PA 17202. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assist with personal care, and help participants engage in community activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle behavioral challenges with patience and compassion.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist people with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Support participation in community activities and exercises.
• Help participants set and pursue developmental goals (budgeting, nutrition, etc.).
• Provide a stable, respectful, and supportive environment for participants.
