Job summary

D&S Community Services in Somerset, part of Sevita, is hiring a caregiver to support individuals with developmental needs. The role offers full-time hours (32+ per week) with varied shifts, including overnights and weekends, and a starting pay of $14.50 per hour. You’ll help with daily living tasks and foster independence in a home-like setting.

We value compassion and reliability. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and complete paid orientation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Strong communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork and time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants with developmental goals and behavioral needs.
• Engage participants in activities and monitor safety and well-being.
• Participate in two weeks of paid orientation and adapt to varied shifts.
