Job summary

Sevita—Mentor Community Services in Shippensburg, PA seeks a full-time Caregiver for afternoons, nights, and weekends (Tuesdays through Saturdays, 3 p.m.–11 p.m.). You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assist with personal hygiene, and help participants achieve developmental goals in a community setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of related experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Skills: Communication, adaptability, teamwork, time-management.
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
• Help participants with budgeting, exercise, and nutrition as part of personal development.
