Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a Direct Caregiver to support individuals needing help with daily living activities. You will ensure comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting independence and dignity.

The role involves assisting with ADLs, mobility, meal preparation, medication reminders where permitted, and providing companionship. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends may be required to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• HHA or CNA certification may be required by state regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meals and dietary needs.
• Remind and help with medications as allowed.
• Support mobility and safe transfers.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal prep.
• Monitor changes in condition and report to supervisors.
• Transport clients to appointments or activities if needed.
• Follow care plans and coordinate with family and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure a safe, comfortable living environment.
