Eminence Home Care seeks dedicated Direct Care Workers (DCWs) with Open Availability to join our team. You will provide in-home care, assist with daily living activities, and provide companionship while following care plans.

Open availability to take fill-in shifts is valued. Prior home care experience is preferred but not required; strong communication, empathy, and reliability are essential. Eminence Home Care is an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and a strong commitment to helping others.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Open availability and flexibility to accept fill-in shifts.
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with meal preparation and other daily living activities.
• Provide medication reminders and document care as required.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Follow the client’s care plan and company policies.
• Accept and work fill-in shifts based on your availability.
• Maintain flexible availability for same-day or short-notice coverage when possible.
• Work professionally with clients, families, and the Eminence Home Care team.
