Job summary

NestVillage LLC in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Direct Care Worker to support residents with developmental disabilities in a group home setting, focusing on health, safety, and quality of life. You will provide hands-on personal care, assist with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, document care, and coordinate with families and nursing staff to ensure respectful, person-centered services.

Shifts include evenings and weekends; the role is full-time with lifting and mobility support as needed,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA/HHA/DSP preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is desirable.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding and mobility.
• Monitor health and behavior; report concerns to supervisors.
• Administer prescribed medications and support basic health tasks per care plans.
• Document care and coordinate with families and healthcare professionals.
• Provide companionship and help residents participate in activities.
