Job summary

NestVillage LLC provides compassionate, person centered residential support for individuals with diverse needs. The Direct Care Worker (DCW) supports adult individuals with developmental disabilities in a licensed residential group home setting, delivering hands-on personal care and daily living assistance to residents in a male program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; DSP, CNA, HHA, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a male residential living environment and provide personal care.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Three professional references required.
• Strong communication and boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, feeding, mobility).
• Implement approved support and behavior strategies to promote safety.
• Observe residents and report concerns to supervisors or nursing staff.
• Administer prescribed oral medications and health-related support as trained.
• Encourage independence and engagement through structured activities.
• Document services, observations, and incidents per state requirements.
• Transport and accompany residents to medical appointments and activities.
