Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking Dining Servers to provide exceptional dining experiences for Residents and guests. You will take orders, serve meals, and assist with special requests across full- and part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or GED accepted.
• Minimum of one year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
• Experience working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Take residents’ dining orders in a friendly and attentive disposition.
• Learn and retain residents’ names, special requests, and dietary restrictions.
• Ensure dining room is set up and ready with silverware, napkins, menus, salt/pepper shakers, etc.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the dining room, menus, kitchen and serving stations as directed.
• Ensure safe food handling and assist with beverage, snack, and dessert prep.
