Qualifications

• Good communication skills, verbal and written; English language skills adequate to allow communication with residents and staff.
• Familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift at least 30 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend for periods of up to eight hours with breaks as provided for in the employee handbook.
• Must be able to routinely follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs dietary services as described in the Resident Handbook and Care Plan.
• Supports food services programs to engage residents' interests and needs.
• Resolves potential food service and care coordination problems with team members and leaders.
• Assists in serving meals and setting/resetting tables in the dining room.
• Washes utensils, chinaware, silverware and cleans the dining area and dish room.
• Delivers room service trays as instructed.
• Maintains professional demeanor reflecting Frontier's service philosophy.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
