Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Server for our Pueblo, CO community. The Server will serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, courteous manner, following dining room standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications include being 16+ with a work permit, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a strong desire to care for the elderly. Training is provided and teamwork is valued across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For health and safety, vaccination and PPE may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately and professionally take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS.
• Set up and break down (bus) tables.
• Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques/etiquette.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
