Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is hiring a Dining Server to help deliver an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests. You will assist with meal service, events, and ensure cleanliness and food safety throughout shifts.

The role emphasizes upholding dining standards, communicating effectively with residents and families, and working with a team to provide compassionate, high-quality service. Prior dining or senior living exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with catering, room service, events, and resident satisfaction.
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders courteously and accurately.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas following food safety standards.
• Clear and reset tables; assist with dining area upkeep after meals and events.
• Follow recipes and ingredient labels to ensure consistency in food and beverages.
