Job summary

Hebrew SeniorLife's New Bridge dining team is seeking a friendly Dining Room Associate to courteously serve residents and guests in our on-site dining venues. You will preset tables, take food orders, serve meals, buss and reset tables, while maintaining a clean, organized dining area.

You will follow daily sanitation schedules, respond to resident likes and dislikes, participate in in-service trainings, and collaborate with coworkers to ensure a positive dining experience that respects resident

Qualifications

• High School education level preferred.
• Pleasant personality and ability to communicate well with people.

Responsibilities

• Presets tables in assigned area and follows serving and cleaning procedures.
• Take member food orders, serve food, bussing and reset tables after service.
• Be familiar with daily menu offerings with emphasis on chef pre-meal.
• Keep dining room and work area neat and orderly; follow sanitation schedules.
• Be alert to likes/dislikes and communicate issues promptly to leadership.
• Attend in-service trainings and cooperate with coworkers to ensure smooth operations.
• Learn the art of food serving and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor.
