Job summary

Ovation Heartwood Preserve in Omaha, NE is hiring a Dining Server to provide welcoming, attentive dining service to residents of memory care, assisted living and independent living communities.

You will take orders, serve meals, clear tables, and collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a pleasant dining experience. Weekend availability and experience with senior care are preferred; part-time and full-time shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining service in senior care or related environment preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices as part of daily service.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy with residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Record and deliver meal and beverage orders accurately.
• Deliver food courteously and ensure attractive presentation.
• Provide attentive service and address residents' needs during meals.
• Set up dining room and maintain cleanliness before, during, and after meals.
• Clear tables and reset for next service.
• Take and deliver room service orders to residents' apartments.
• Be knowledgeable about menu items and dietary needs.
