Job summary

Arete Living at Gilman Grove in Oregon City, OR is seeking a Server to join our memory care, assisted living and/or independent living community. You will provide excellent dining service, take orders, serve meals, and ensure a positive dining experience for residents and guests.

This full-time position requires weekend availability and a friendly, professional demeanor. We offer benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, PTO and more.

Qualifications

• Food service knowledge and high sanitation standards as learned on the job.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to learn kitchen equipment and adapt to dining room workflows.
• Must maintain personal hygiene and hair restraints.

Responsibilities

• Accurately recording and delivering meal and beverage orders from residents.
• Promptly delivering food and beverages and presenting meals attractively.
• Provide attentive, friendly service and check on residents during meals.
• Set up dining room before meals and maintain cleanliness throughout service.
• Clear tables, reset for next service, and assist with room service orders.
