Job summary

The Overlook in Charlton, MA is seeking staff for Full Time or Part Time roles in dining services. You will perform Steps of Service to ensure gracious and efficient service for residents and guests, while maintaining time management for smooth table turnover.

Responsibilities include serving food per HAACP guidelines, operating a POS system, and supporting the Dining Room Manager with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary.
• High school diploma or GED - preferred
• Desire to work with an older population in an Assisted Living and Long-Term Care facility.
• Ability to push a cart full of trays/meals to the different floors and residence areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform established Steps of Service to ensure gracious and efficient service.
• Practice good time management to ensure efficient table turnover.
• Handle and serve food in accordance with HAACP guidelines and sanitation standards.
• May operate cash register and point of sale software.
• Other roles and responsibilities as assigned by the Dining Room Manager.
• This position is an essential worker position; candidates must be available during inclement weather and high-priority events.
