Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must maintain cleanliness and safety of food service areas, following sanitation standards.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm when assisting residents.
• Must be willing to incorporate new methods and practices into existing food service routines.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare & serve meals in accordance with planned menus and standard recipes; accommodate dietary orders and snacks.
• Maintain department cleanliness and sanitation; ensure equipment and supplies are ready for next service.
• Perform dishwashing and cleaning tasks; keep utensils and stations ready for use.
• Deliver snacks, meals, carts and trays to designated areas; assist with feeding in dining areas.
