Healthcare Services Group Inc. in Massachusetts seeks a dependable Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care setting. You will help with food prep, portion meals, and ensure dining areas are clean and safe.

Role emphasizes resident interaction, teamwork, and adherence to food-safety standards. Prior food service experience is helpful but not required; on-site position with benefits and pay in the $17–$19/hour range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with occupants and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lifts up to 30 pounds, can push/pull up to 50 pounds, stands for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state/county.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
