Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is hiring a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will work with the dining team to follow dietary needs and portions while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and dining area.

Starting pay is $18.42 per hour with benefits including telemedicine, prescription discounts, EAP, and career development. The role requires teamwork, adherence to safety guidelines, and compliance with vaccination policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state/county law.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
