Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to help prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow dietary guidelines and ensure high-quality service while interacting warmly with residents and staff.

Starting pay is USD $15.00 per hour. This role involves light lifting and standing for extended periods; prior food service experience is preferred but not required, and ServSafe or Food Handler certification may be required by state law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required based on State/County law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
