Job summary

Regency at Troy in Troy, MI is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily food service in a skilled nursing setting. You will assist with meal prep, delivery, and sanitation to ensure nutritious, properly presented meals for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Prefer one year of experience as a food service aide in an institutional setting.
• Ability to read and follow diet cards, portion guidelines, and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handles and stores all food according to facility procedures, safe food handling guidelines, state and federal requirements.
• Assists with food preparation as assigned by supervisor.
• Prepares food items according to standardized recipes, ensuring safe handling.
• Operates institutional food preparation equipment as directed.
• Assembles and delivers trays to dining areas and resident units.
• Maintains cleanliness of dishes, utensils and equipment and reports issues promptly.
• Supports meal service and nutrition accuracy for residents.
