Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility in Kentucky. You will follow dietary guidelines, support a clean kitchen, and interact warmly with residents and staff to enhance dining experiences.

Ideal candidates possess a high school diploma or equivalent, are able to lift up to 30 pounds, and can work as part of a team. Certifications like ServSafe are preferred by state law where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portions.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, delivering quality service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
