Job summary

Quest Healthcare Development is seeking a compassionate Dining Assistant to support meal service for residents in our care facility. You will help set up dining rooms, deliver meals, and assist with basic food preparation, ensuring a warm, social dining experience.

You should be reliable, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and comfortable working flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Training on sanitation and safety will be provided to maintain high cleanliness standards and resident

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in food service, hospitality, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain sanitation standards.
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining room, serve meals, and assist residents during meal times.
• Deliver meal trays and snacks; ensure food is served at proper temperature.
• Assist cook with food preparation and cleaning as needed.
• Wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and maintain clean kitchen/dining areas.
• Remove trash and recycling; restock supplies; rotate stored foods.
