Job summary

Continuum Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide for a long-term care facility in the area. Flexible and evening hours available, with great benefits and work environment. You will assist with meal service and basic kitchen duties.

Responsibilities include dishes, cleaning, serving meals, restocking supplies, and following safety and sanitation guidelines. Strong communication and multitasking skills are valued, as are the ability to work with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Experience providing quality resident services and evaluating resident satisfaction.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle emergencies as they arise.
• Working knowledge of sanitary practices relating to food handling.
• Good communication skills interacting with residents and families.
• Ability to identify problems and suggest corrections.
• Must perform dishwashing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Run dishes and silverware through dish machine and provide excellent resident service within guidelines.
• Clean and maintain equipment and areas designated by management.
• Keep sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups and glasses during service periods.
