Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow safety and dietary guidelines while delivering friendly, person-centered service within a team environment.

This role requires attention to hygiene, ability to lift and stand for extended periods, and adherence to vaccination policies. Training and career development opportunities are available, with compassionate support for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent required.
• Experience in food service or kitchen is preferred but not required.
• Must follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift/carry up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portions.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
