Job summary

Ridgecrest Village is seeking friendly servers to provide meals in our dining rooms for residents, guests, and staff. You will assist with tray transport, meal orders, and beverage service, while maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities include tallying diet cards for health center patients, preparing simple foods, and supporting dishwashing and cleaning tasks. A positive attitude and reliable schedule are essential for team success.

Qualifications

• Must meet the minimum age requirement to perform various service work per the current labor law guidelines.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Maintains a positive attitude and communicates politely with residents, guests and staff.
• A flexible schedule is helpful and acceptable dress code requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals in dining rooms and carries trays.
• Receives and prepares meal orders.
• Delivers and pours beverages.
• Replenishes buffet line from kitchen and assists in preparing meal trays.
• Tallies diet cards to ensure appropriate dietary meals are assembled.
• Cleans refrigerators, walk-in coolers, and storage areas; washes dishes and pots as needed.
• Assists in routine dietary cleaning tasks and special cleaning at supervisor’s request.
• Performs other duties as directed by Food Service Manager and Supervisor.
