Valley Hope Grapevine is seeking a Food Service Specialist I to join our dedicated team in Grapevine, TX. This full-time role supports meal preparation, safe food handling, and service to patients, staff, and visitors in our residential/outpatient treatment facility.

The position requires a food permit/handler's card (or ability to obtain within 30 days), a high school diploma preferred, and some experience in dietary settings.

Qualifications

• Food permit/Handler's Card required or obtainable within 30 days.
• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience or training in dietary setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe food handling protocols in kitchen and dining areas.
• Prepare and support daily meals according to menus/recipes.
• Provide food to patients, staff, and visitors with a pleasant demeanor.
• Follow state regulations and sanitize kitchen equipment daily.
• Assist with cleaning tasks per shift schedules.
