Job summary

Guadalupe Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Seguin, TX is seeking a PRN dietary aide to assist with food preparation, serving residents, and meal cleanup.

Responsibilities include assisting with food prep, beverage service, tray setup, stocking snack carts, and cleaning the kitchen. A Texas Food Handler Certificate is required.

High school diploma preferred; prior kitchen experience is a plus; join a caring, team-oriented dining services environment in a community-focused facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred
• Texas Food Handler Certificate required

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations
• Preparing and serving beverages
• Setting up and passing trays for meal service
• Stocking snack cart
• bussing of tables and trays
• Cleaning the kitchen work area
• Dishwashing
• Follow proper handwashing guidelines
• Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned by the CDM or the Executive Director
